How many Star Trek fans do we have as readers? I hope there are lots of you because the news of today will bring some excitement. Also, it will bring some justification to your deep belief that those fantastic space journeys are truly a possibility.
Gosh, I'd like for that achievement to be made during my lifetime! That is one thing I'd love to have my grandchildren speak about to their children ... "my grandmother witnessed the first 'faster than light' space journey"!

today. A brief overview of their write-up really got my eyes open and blood flowing.
Everything we've been told in the past about faster-than-light travel has been negative. The idea was there but how to bring it into reality has been an impossibility.
Our scientists simply have not been able to leave that topic alone. Thoughts and theories have run rampant with much effort put into proving true the practical possibility of space travel.
Now, we are told, space travel could become available for the average citizen! I can imagine going to the bus station to board the next flight out to Venus ... the scenic route if you please.
One of the statements from the article allows for a whole new way of thinking about space travel.
" the really cool thing is space-time, the fabric of space, is not limited by the speed of light"
If you are interested in quantum theory, string theory, dimensions of time and space, parallel universes or any of those related topics, you will enjoy very much the references given for further reading as you glance through the Fox News article.
